John Steven Patterson

Connersville native, John Steven “JP” Patterson, 65, died September 6, 2020 at Reid Health of Connersville. John was born to Charles and Clara Roach Patterson on August 28, 1955. He attended Connersville High school. John was employed with H.H.Robertson for many years and was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion and Auxiliary of the VFW. John loved attending concerts and listening to 60’s and 70’s classic rock, his favorite band was the Rolling Stones. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling and watching sports, especially the Colts. In addition to his mother, John is survived by his son: Matthew McQueen; brothers: Todd Patterson and his wife Kim, David Patterson and his wife Terri all of Connersville; grandchildren: Payne and Serenity; nieces and nephews: Holly, Jazmine, and Jacob. John is preceded in death by his father: Charles Patterson; brother: Bobby Patterson. A graveside service will be held at 1p.m, Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Dale cemetery with Tom Roach officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Cancer Society in JP’s honor. At the request of the family, all guest must wear a mask to attend.
