Nannie Ruth AmosNannie Ruth Amos, age 92, of Martinsville died Monday, January 18, 2010 at her home.She was born October 1, 1917 in Rockingham County, NC to Charles Andrew Hudnall and Daisy Joyce Hudnall, both deceased.She was a member of Collinsvillle Baptist Church. She had retired from DuPont with 26 years of service.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Young; her second husband, Harvey Mills; and her third husband, Oscar Amos; a daughter, Patricia Kessel; four brothers and two sisters.She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ruth Young, of Martinsville; one step-son, Ed Amos; two step-daughters, Ruby Meyers and Peggy Hiatt ;two sisters, Virginia Lawless of Fieldale and Dorothy Tuck of Brookneal, VA; a grandson, Aubrey Moses; a great-granddaughter, Erin Moses and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Collinsville Baptist Church.The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Collinsville Baptist Church with Rev. Tracy Freeman and Rev. Frank Gribble officiating.
