Garry Wayne Foley

Garry Wayne Foley, age 64, of Fieldale, Virginia passed away on Saturday August 4, 2018. Garry was born March 15, 1954 to the late Frieda Ramsey Foley and Jesse Foley. In addition to his parents, Garry was preceded in death by two sons, Damien Andrew Bennett Foley, and Sean Michael Foley. Garry proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years and the Army Reserves for three. He dedicated 23 years of his life as a Boy Scout Leader and was also a member of Rangeley Ruritan Club. Garry worked many years as an occupational therapy assistant at Stanleytown and Blue Ridge Rehab. During his free time, he enjoyed watching baseball and football, and was dedicated to spending time with his family. He was a wonderful artist with numerous talents such as playing piano by ear, along with playing guitar and trombone. Garry is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Patricia Foley; daughter, Laura Ann Foley Carter (Daniel); step-son, Brian Lemon (Connie); sister, Frieda Ann Sawyer (Doug), brother, Barry Foley (Jennifer); step- granddaughters, Brianna Gammons (Jeff), Abby Lemon, and Makenna Lemon; and grandson, Landon Blake Carter. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Henry Memorial Park. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
