James Junior Scales

James Junior Scales, age 60, of Spencer, Virginia passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018 with his loving family surrounding him. James was born January 22, 1958 to the late America Brown Scales and Lovey Scales and was a member of The Gethsemane Pentecostal Holiness Church. James is survived by his loving wife, Sharon C Scales; daughters, Joletha Copening and Latoyah Hairston; sons Junior B.J Scales, Rico Scales, James Scales, and DeAngelo Deo Waller; brother, Raymond Roger Scales (Rachel), and sisters Frances Penn, Goldie Johnson, and Margaret Reynolds. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brothers; Leroy Johnson, Cornelius Johnson, and Harold "Joe Pete" Scales. A visitation for James will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Greater International Pentecostal Holiness Assembly Building, 980 Carver Road, Martinsville, Virginia 24112. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at The Thomas Family Cemetery.
