Jeffrey D Prillaman

Jeffrey D. Prillaman, 52, of Sandy Ridge, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital due to complications of diabetes. Jeff is the son of Jack Prillaman of Sandy Ridge, NC, and the late Edna Stanley Prillaman. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Grady "Buster" Prillaman, Nancy Jarrett Prillaman, Iowa Stanley Love, and Henry Stanley. Jeff was a graduate of Southeast Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC and Chowan College with a degree in Graphic Arts. He worked with his father in the printing industry for many years at their business, Winder Tag & Label in Georgia. Jeff was an outdoorsman and enjoyed go cart racing as a hobby with his father. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Prillaman of Cary, NC; sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Jud Hall, and beloved niece Madison Hall of Ellijay, GA. Many friends and relatives truly thought the world of him. Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Saturday, March, 8, 2014, at Collins Funeral Home in Bassett. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. prior to the service. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA, will be private at a later date.
