John Ezra Dalton, age 86, of Bassett, Virginia passed away on Tuesday April 25, 2018. John was born November 15, 1931 to Lulie Merriman Dalton and Harry Fedrick Dalton.
John is survived by his wife, Mollie Prillaman Dalton; brothers Harry Dalton and Harold Dalton, sister-in-law Anna Dalton, sister Jane Dalton Roberts (Don); nieces Lisa McGreggor and Julie Vest, (Timothy) and great- nephew Joshua Vest.
John was preceded in death by; mother Lulie Merriman Dalton; father Harry Fedrick Dalton and step-mother Mary Foley Dalton; sister-in-law Nan Buck Edwards Dalton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
