Donna Faye Knowland

Donna Faye Knowland, 76, passed away Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Columbus Transitional Care and Rehabilitation.
She was born December 4, 1941 in Columbus, the daughter of Ralph and Nancy Martin. She attended elementary school and high school in Columbus. She married Charles "Dud" Knowland on December 8, 1959. He preceded her in death in 1998.
Donna was an avid country music fan and enjoyed traveling with her husband during their marriage.
She was always known for making friends easily and had a big heart.
She is survived by her brother, Marvin (Toy) Martin; Cindy (Wally) Veluzat, both of Columbus; a sister, Mary Skinner of Dayton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Earl Shatto and Larry Sutton.
A service for Donna will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Collins officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 from 6p.m.-8p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service time on Saturday. Burial at Garland Brook will be held Monday, November 19, 2018.
Memorials in Donna's name may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or The American Diabetes Association.
Myers- Reed Chapel is serving the Knowland family.
