Seth Aaron Crossland, 17 North National Road Columbus, Indiana Seth Aaron Crossland, 17, of North National Road, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, in Columbus. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with the Rev. Charles Aigner officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society or Columbus Animal Control. Seth is survived by his mother, Lisa Welch of Columbus; his father and stepmother, Timothy E. and Ruth Lewallen Crossland of Columbus; maternal grandparents, John and Patsy Welch of Columbus; paternal grandmother, Reta Crossland of Columbus; and stepsisters, Karen (Casey) Matern of Hope and Robin Muellenberg of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Samuel Crossland. Seth was born in Columbus, Oct. 8, 1992. He was an epic fisherman, enjoyed swimming, being outside, his X-Box and animals.
