Emmaline Mabel Dudley

Connersville native, Emmaline M. Dudley, 91, died Sunday evening, March 25, 2018, at Highpoint Health.
Emmaline was the daughter of Charles E. and Velma N. Kuhn Jessop, born August 26, 1926. In 1941, she graduated from Connersville High School. She grew up traveling with her family to area fairs to sell the renowned Jessop’s Butterscotch Corn. For over 38 years, she was employed at General Telephone & Electric Corporation in Connersville, retiring in 1985 as an operator supervisor. Emmaline was a member of the Christian Church in Brookville and the Eagles Auxiliary, Aerie #1065 in Connersville. She was married in Jellico, Tennessee, on August 11, 1965, to John O. “Jack” Dudley, Sr.
Emmaline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who died December 20, 1992; her brother and sister-in-law: Edward J. and Mary Jessop; her sister and brother-in-law: Doris and Chester Davis; and a niece: Jacqueline Powell.
Emmaline is survived by her nephews: William J. Powell, Jr.; John Jessop and his wife, Nancy; great-niece with whom she made her home: Michelle Gill and her husband, Gabe and their children Alivia, Braxton and Cazpen; great-nephew: William J. Powell III, and his children Cody and Carley Powell.
