Carolyne Mitchell Loving

Carolyne Mitchell Loving, 92, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, formerly of Culpeper, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15th surrounded by family. Carolyne was preceded in death by her husband John Walton Loving, daughter Emily Kowasic, parents B.B. and Emily Mitchell, and brother B.B Mitchell II as well as many other beloved family members. She leaves behind her daughter Shelley Loving-Ryder and her son-in-law Timothy Ryder, her grandson Joseph Ryder (Brooke), granddaughters Tara Kowasic and Carolyne Ryder, and special family members Page Mitchell, Nancy Reese Kochli (Andre), Mary Keith Russell (Will) and Mary Scott Gyory (Chuck), as well as many other family members and friends. Carolyne was a resident of Culpeper, Virginia for most of her life only moving to Mechanicsville to live with her children as she aged. A generous, kind, and loving southern lady,she spent her life putting others first; Her absence will be forever felt, but her grace and faith will live on through the ones she leaves behind. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.,Thursday, April 19, 2018, in the Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel with Carolyne's cousin, the Reverend Charles Spigner, presiding. Internment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at Clore-English Funeral Home one hour prior to service time.
