Barbara Gough Dutton. Passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, in Viera, Florida, at the age of 91. Born on January 15, 1935, and raised in Somerset, Massachusetts, Barbara lived a life marked by her dedication to community, politics, and the arts. During her time in Buffalo, she and her husband Anthony were well-known for their fundraising efforts for both local
and national Democratic candidates. She was involved with organizations such as the Junior League of Buffalo, the League of Women Voters, and the United Way of WNY. She was a devoted supporter of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and served on the boards of the Community Music School of Buffalo, the Junior Group of the Albright Knox Art Gallery and the International Institute. She was a talented chef and hostess. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Charlene Dondis and Jeanne France; her children, Elizabeth
Bourne (Gordon), Margaret Baglioni (Piero), and Samuel Dutton (Cindy); and her seven grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 29, 2026 from 12-2 PM at the Saturn Club of Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
