Anthony T. D'Mellow

Anthony D’Mellow, 81, passed away, Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at his home in Evansville, IN. He was born July 6, 1931 in Bihar, India. He was in the US Army for 12 years and was a Staff Sergeant E-6. He was a National Life Insurance Agent for 11 years. He worked for Davis Pipe Fabrication, Blountville, TN. He was a life member of VFW 1114. Anthony was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking. He was preceded in death by parents, Ben and Mabel D’Mellow; son, Michael; brothers, Ben, John, Jesse, Ted; and sister, Margaret Harper. Anthony is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris D’Mellow; daughter, Vicki Walters (Leroy); son, David D’Mellow (Julie); granddaughters, Cynthia Bastain, Jeanna Plunkett, Melinda Baldauf; grandson, Jesse D’Mellow; brothers, Allen D’Mellow, Pat D’Mellow; sisters, Zena Thompson, Gwen Dunbar; and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:00AM, Monday, June 24, 2013, at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Father Ted Tempel with entombment at the cemetery.
