Austin Derek Smith

Austin Derek Smith, 25, of Evansville, IN passed away Friday, June 29, 2018. He was born in Evansville on June 1, 1993. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed New York Yankees baseball, IU basketball, fishing, and he was a gifted athlete. He loved spending time with his family. Austin is survived by his children, Camilla, Kinsley and Kingston; father, Dion D. Smith of Orlando, FL; mother, Joy Scarlett of Evansville; sister, Riley Smith of Evansville; sister, Karly Smith of Orlando, FL; step-brother, Alex Langford of Louisville, KY; grandmothers, Karen Priester and Madonna Smith of Evansville; grandfather, Robert Alexander of Palm Springs, CA; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be held 5:00 PM, Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Alexander North Chapel officiated by Rev. Everett Freels. Friends may visit 3-5 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
