Cherise Ann Wells

Cherise Ann Wells, 66, passed away on August 1, 2018 at her home after an illness. She was born on December 21, 1951, in Evansville, IN, to the late Robert and Anna Cheaney. Cherise was a hard worker, loved people and was willing to help anyone. She worked as a bus aid at EVSC. She had a contagious laugh and loved to make others laugh. Cherise lived a wonderful life and loved her family. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, David Williams III; and three sisters. Cherise is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, James Wells; daughter, Jamice Wells; son, DeCarlos Cheaney; grandchildren, Marquel Cheaney, Shaniqua Cheaney, Daviesha Williams, Martez Johnson, Rashawnda Shamell, Dakota Williams, Davion Williams, Jameona Wells; brother, John McKee; sister, Acquanetta Cheaney; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1530 Burdette Avenue, officiated by Ira Parrish. Friends may visit from 4:00 until service time at 6:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess VNA Hospice.
