Howard "Bud" Tindle

Howard “Bud” Tindle, 94, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Parkview Care Center. He was born January 11, 1924, in Evansville, IN to the late Lee and Belva (Sutton) Tindle.
He was an Army WWII veteran and Purple Heart recipient who served in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from Whirlpool after 40 years of employment. Bud was a member of VFW #1114 and Reed Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Bud is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mazo “Mazie” Tindle; sister-in-law, Mary Tindle; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 14, 2018, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Harold Paulson, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Parkview Care Center, Deaconess Palliative Care Unit and Deaconess VNA Hospice, as well as Don Greer, who was Bud’s neighbor for 50 years.
