Ronald E. Dunn Sr.

Ronald E. Dunn Sr., 71, of Evansville, IN passed away Friday August 3, 2018. He was born in Evansville, IN on September 4, 1946, to the late James David and Mary Rose Dunn. He retired from Silgan Containers where he had worked for 20 years. Ronald was a member of the NRA, enjoyed hunting, and livestock farming. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, James Wesley, Sidney Allen, and Carl Max Wayne Dunn. Ronald is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol A. (Smith) Dunn; daughter Donna Boarman (Chad); sons Ronald E Dunn, Jr and Randy E Dunn; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Polly Wilkie (Greg) and Paula Roberts; many nieces and nephews and his hunting partner and nephew Timothy Dunn, and longtime friends and neighbors Bobby and Rena Spegal. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday August 6, 2018 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, officiated by Rev. Steve Schwambach with burial at Alexander Memorial Park, Friends may visit 11 AM until service time on Monday at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
