Bertha E. Carroll

Bertha E. Carroll, 88, of Columbia City, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. She was born to the late Joseph and Bertha Croft in Fort Wayne on August 28, 1930. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church in Angola. Bertha always took care of her family. Bertha is survived by her son, Michael (Marsha) Carroll; grandchildren, Jae`j, Amy, Michael, Veronica, Brian, Joe, Jeremy, Kathleen, Sean, Jessica, Samuel, and James; 27 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Carroll; and children, Kathleen Gomori, Peter Carroll, and Erin Lea Follis. Funeral service is 11:00 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808) with visitation beginning at 9:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
