Harold A. "Skip" Smith

Harold A. “Skip” Smith, 86, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Laredo, TX to the late Harold and Eudelia (Flores) Smith. He served honorably in the United States Navy. He married Eva (Carnall-Maggart) Smith in June of 1988 and she survives. Skip enjoyed building models, most recently airplane models. Skip was an avid cubs fan. Surviving are his children, Rick (Kathy) Smith, Randy Smith, Kevin Smith, and Kory (Patty) Smith; three step-children, David (Denise) Carnall, Lisa Worden, and Jennifer Bryant; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Skip was also preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Glasper. Funeral service 10:30 am Friday, August 30, 2019 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home with calling one hour prior to the service. Visitation also from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
