Richard G. Anderson

Richard G. Anderson, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012. He was born on October 13, 1931 in Edgerton, IN to the late Benjamin and Bertha B. (Pattee) Anderson. He worked as an auto mechanic for Summit City Radiator and was a member of Eagles 3164-New Haven. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and especially his grandchildren. Surviving family include his wife of 50 years, Lila (Syndram) Anderson of Fort Wayne; children, Richard (Desi) Anderson of Columbia City, Dan (Shiela) Anderson, Rob Anderson both of Fort Wayne; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Maurice Anderson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by two daughters, Melinda and Rebecca; 4 brothers, 4 sisters; and a great granddaughter, Kristiana Shaw. A funeral service will be 10:30 am on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation will be 1-5 pm on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
