Rita Josephine Muldoon

Rita J. Muldoon, 89, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and was the daughter of the late David and Catherine Cardinali. She was a homemaker and also worked at J.C. Penney's. Surviving are her children, Ann Marie (Robert) Fisher, Catherine (Bob Rue) Hess, Jane (Rick) Linder, Amy (Tim) Singleton, Judy (Randy) Harrison, Timothy Muldoon, Andrew (Suzanne) Muldoon, Matthew (Stephanie) Muldoon; 22 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward “Abe” Muldoon, daughter Meg Muldoon Jacquay; siblings Father Fred Cardinali, Theresa Vondersaar and Mary Cardinali; and Ronda Johnson (companion of Timothy). Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018, with visitation one hour prior at Saint Henry’s Catholic Church, 2929 E. Paulding Road. Visitation will also be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, with Rosary Service at 3:30 p.m. at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Masses.
