Robert Donald Bailey

Robert D. Bailey, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018, at home. He was born in Fort Wayne, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, was a purple heart recipient, and retired from Zollner Pistons in 1996. He is survived by his children, Dawn (Terry) Hanley and Darren (Sandy) Bailey; and grandchildren, Travis Briner, Alec and Brady Hanley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Marie; and granddaughter, Leah Hanley. Service is 2 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to Honor Flight Northeast Indiana, P.O. Box 5, Huntertown, IN 46748.
