OBITUARY
Roger D. Bartholow
December 5, 1933 – April 20, 2011
ROGER D. BARTHOLOW, 77, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Regency Place. Born Dec. 5, 1933, in Huron, S.D., he was the son of Cecil Bartholow and Della (Jeske). He was a Korean War Army veteran. He was co-owner of Soccer House for 20 years and worked at Harvester as Director of Human Resources for 26 years. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church; former Senior Warden, Junior Warden and Vestry member; was a member of many soccer organizations in the Fort Wayne area; he graduated from University of South Dakota; and member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Surviving are his wife, Lellie; sons, Peter (Janet) Batholow of Las Vegas, Nev. and Matthew Bartholow of Mammoth Lake, Calif.; daughter, Libby (Bill) Whitesell of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Candice (Erik) Harris, Corin (Jesse) Vrchota, Emily Whitesell, and Merillyn Whitesell, all of Fort Wayne; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Thomas (Donna) Bartholow of Brookings, S.D. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 W. Berry St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. Preferred memorials to Trinity Episcopal Church Spiritual Wreath Fund or Parkview Home Care & Hospice.
