Shirley L. Cox

Shirley L. Cox, 82, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She was born February 22, 1936 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Homer and Ethel (Mollet) Seibold. She worked at home raising her family. She was an active member at Simpson United Methodist Church. She served as past president of Simpson United Methodist chapter of the Church Women United Surviving family include her husband of 56 years, Ralph Cox; daughters, Susan Reichert, Trina Ackinson, and Vickie (Rick) Carey; nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her daughter, Rita Ebnit; and brother, William Seibold. Memorial service will 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Simpson United Methodist Church, 2501 Harrison Street, Fort Wayne, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior and Pastor Janie Reyes officiating. Inurnment will take place at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Simpson United Methodist Church.
