Eileen Vaccarino Koltz, age 71, of Lake George, Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at her home following a recent illness. Eileen was born on December 28, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Peter and Ellen (Andre) Vaccarino. Eileen retired as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist. She formerly lived in Toledo, Ohio, and had retired to Lake George, in Steuben County, Indiana. Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Koltz of Lake George, Fremont, Indiana, three children, Peter Frank Koltz, M.D., and his wife Brooke Koltz, M.D., of Perrysburg, Ohio, and their children (Eleanora, Peter Henry, Cecilia, and Simon), Michael Thomas Koltz, M.D., and his wife Maureen, of Austin, Texas, and their children (Michaela, Meredith, Madeleine, and Maebelle), and Lauren K. Schierloh, R.D., and her husband Joshua Schierloh, Esq., of Dayton, Ohio, and their children (Anna and Caroline), and Eileen’s brother Frank Vaccarino of Connecticut, and two sisters, Diane Vaccarino of Denver, Colorado, and Francine Ratto of Tacoma, Washington. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am Saturday, July 21, 2018 at St. Michael’s Church, 296 Clinton Street, Binghamton, New York. Presiding over the Liturgy will be Father Jim Dutko. Burial will follow services at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Binghamton, New York. Pall-bearers will be Michael L. Koltz, Peter F. Koltz, M.D., Michael T. Koltz, M.D., Thomas J. Koltz, Frank Vaccarino, and Joshua Schierloh. Memorial donations in her memory are requested to St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation, 5901 Monclova Road, Maumee, Ohio 43537 or St. Michael’s Church, 296 Clinton Street, Binghamton, New York, 13905.
