Robert Eugene Geyer Jr.

Robert Eugene Geyer, Jr., 56, of Orland, Indiana, died Monday, January 13, 2014, at Heartland Manor Care Center, Three Rivers, Michigan. Robert was born in Clare, Michigan on June 21, 1957, the son of Robert Eugene Geyer, Jr., and Frances Ann Anderson. His father preceded him in death in 2013. He graduated from high school in Flint, Michigan. He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He enjoyed watching T.V., camping, fishing, and food, and was a football fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Survivors include, his mother and step-father, Frances Ann and Herman"Frosty" Straw, Jr., of Orland, Indiana, a son, Robert J. Geyer, a step-daughter, Kristy Clutter, a step-son, Billy Hunt, ten grandchildren, two sisters, Michelle Rutter and (Brandon Hicks) of Fremont, Indiana, and Ruth Ann Davis of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and two brothers, Gerald W. Geyer of Orland, Indiana, and Gregory Alan Geyer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and two nieces and three nephews. Private family calling hours were held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. A memorial service will be announced and will be held at a later time. Memorials are to the family.
