Betsy Jo O'Hair

Betsy Jo O’Hair, 58, of Cloverdale, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born August 14, 1959 in Anderson, IN, the daughter of Richard and Sherrill (Morris) Benson and was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1977” Betsy was a fun loving and caring person. She had provided childcare in her home for several years, had recently worked at The Waters of Greencastle nursing home for seven years and previously at Value City Furniture, Merrillville & Castleton locations. She is survived by her husband, David O’Hair; daughters, Kelly (husband, Mathew) Cox, Erica Porter, and Brittany Bartlett; her mother, Sherrill Benson; brothers, Brad (wife, Debbie) Benson, Brian (wife, Nancy) Benson, and Barry (wife, Stephanie) Benson; stepdaughter, Jill (husband, Jamey) Cook; and grandson, Michael O’Hair. She was preceded in death by her Father. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Brick Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM on Thursday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betsy to the Susan G.
