IN THE CARE OF
Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home
This is to announce a change of address for Elizabeth S. (Betty) Graffis due to Cancer. Betty left her home which she loved on October 17, 2018 at age 84. She had resided at the same address with her husband Tom for 51 of their 65 years of marriage. She raised two daughters, giving them consistent love through her quiet strength. Deborah Graffis Kelly (Robert) and Lynette Lee Reed (Bill) both survive her and have been devoted to her while helping her get ready for the inevitable move.
Betty worked alongside her husband, Dr. Tom Graffis, where she was his Dental Hygienist, office manager and confidant. She was committed to serving as a member of First Christian Church where, over the years, she was a Sunday School teacher, Elder, Chair of the Board, Deacon, Treasurer, and many offices in CWF as well as hours of behind-the-scenes activities.
She loved all of her extended family especially her four granddaughters: Amanda (Reed) Glaunsinger (Brian), Erin (Reed) Browne (Paul), Shannon Kelly and Faryn Kelly. She was delighted to welcome 4 great-grandchildren and found it very important to stay connected to her nieces, nephews, and in-laws. You may contact Betty through prayer at her new address which is Main-Street-in-Heaven where you will find her rejoicing with the angels.
There will not be a formal funeral service but instead a celebration of life at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 17th at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Everyone who knew Betty and Tom is invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
On-line condolences may be shared with the family at www.bittlesandhurt.com
