He was born on January 6, 1931 in Anderson to Farrell Leo Brandenburg and Mabel Geneva Taylor Brandenburg.
Farrell served his country in the US Army and was a 50 year member of the Lapel Masonic Lodge.
He retired from General Motors Guide Lamp division with 43 years of service.
Farrell was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Tim Brandenburg and a sister-in-law, Leah Brandenburg.
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Sandra M. Whelchel Brandenburg; three children, Karen Cler and husband, John of Pendleton, Yvonne Brandenburg of Carmel and Casey Brandenburg and wife Candy of Anderson; a granddaughter Katherine Cler; his twin brother, Darrell Lee Brandenburg of Anderson; five sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at Union Chapel United Methodist Church, 5998 West US Highway 36. Graveside Services will follow at Clinton Falls Cemetery, with Rev. Dale Payne officiating.
