Frank C Hutcheson

Frank Hutcheson, 81, of Greencastle, passed away peacefully at his home, Autumn Glen, on Thursday, February 28, 2013. He was born on April 13, 1931 in Putnam County to Claude and Mary Olive (Hamilton) Hutcheson and was a graduate of Greencastle High School “class of 1948”. Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1951 – 1953. Frank returned to Putnam County in 1953 and made his career as a home builder and Developer. He was a life member of the American Legion Post #58, a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge #47, Elks Lodge #1077, and the Greencastle High School Alumni Association. Sharon, his wife of 47 years preceded him in death August 2, 2012. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Jack) Stohr and Terri (Larry) Wicker; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bowen officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 6th at the funeral home.
