Gary G. Draping, 70 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Gary was born in Greensburg on December 26, 1947, the son of Herbert and Devota (Swango) Draping. He married Janet Asche on June 20, 1970 in Osgood and she survives.
Other survivors include their children – Jerrod (Sara) Draping of Shelbyville, Gia (Matt) Westhafer of Holton and Jeralyn Draping of Waldron; his brother – Duane Draping; and grandchildren – Ella, Alden and Claudia Westhafer and Ana and Jack Draping. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Gary worked as a farmer and truck driver for most of his life. He most recently also worked for the State Highway Department until his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in New Point and the Smyrna Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 11AM until the start of the funeral service at 1PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
