Samantha Sue Hersley

Samantha Sue Hersley, 22 of Greensburg, sadly lost her battle with cancer, on May 11, 2018, at home surrounded by her family. Samantha was born on May 14, 1995 in Greensburg, IN daughter of Jeff and Amy Motz of Greensburg. She is survived by her parents, her “Momma” Sherri Walters, her 2 sisters Maisie Motz (Dustin Mourey) of Greensburg and McKayla Walters of Greensburg, her 4 brothers Josh Motz of Greensburg, Dustin Imel, Nicholas Motz (Amanda) of California, and Dakota Walters of Greensburg, her aunt Penny Moore, and her wives Brandy and Stacy Bowen also of Greensburg. She had several grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many many friends that is included in her huge family that stretched from Indianapolis, IN all the way to Florida. Sami also is survived by her one pride and joy her niece Elena Alanandria May Mourey. Samantha is preceded in death by her son Jordan Michael Alaxander Bell, her Grandpa Jerry Lee Motz, and her Mawmaw Verdia Merritt. Samantha was a 2013 graduate of North Decatur and was in choir all through school. She loved to sing. Samantha was a beautiful, care free soul, loving, caring, and giving. Sami was a leader, who was outspoken when she needed to be and didn’t care what people thought of her, her ways, her unique cheetah print style, or the fact that Spiderman was the only super hero in the world, besides her daddy, Jeff Motz. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home.
