Alberta Mae Beaver

Alberta Mae Beaver passed away in Morristown, IN on September 19, 2011 at the age of 81. Alberta was born in Gwynneville, IN to the late John and LaVon(Wilson) Poston. She married Walter Beaver in 1949. Alberta was an office manager for Roos Packing for many years. Alberta was a longtime member of Southport Eastern Star and was the Valentine Queen when she lived at Village Oaks. She is survived by her three children; Walter Edward“Eddie” Beaver, Jr., LaVonna(husband Bruce)Jones and Terri(husband Clark)Mayfield. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Geoffrey Davis, Rachel Taylor, Daniel and David Jones, Crystal, Steven and Tara Mayfield, Samantha and Nicholas Beaver and one great-grand child; Avi Taylor. Alberta was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter in 2006, her brother Harley Poston and sister Selma Gross. Friends may call on Thurs. Sept. 22, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. in Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Fri.
