Danny Kent Grant

Danny Kent Grant, 71, Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018. Danny was born March 4, 1947 in Kokomo to Lawrence and Margaret (Johnson) Grant.Danny married Brenda Paul on November 15, 1965 in Clinton, TN. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda, children Angela Ballinger, Kokomo, Lawrence Grant, Bullhead City, AZ, Maggie Grant, Knoxville, TN, brother Mark (Hazel) Grant, Kokomo, grandchildren, Daniel Sands, Jessica Sands, Michael Muncey, Raymond Martinez, Christopher Martinez, and several great grandchildren. Danny entertained throughout the entire United States since the young age of nine. His heart was singing gospel music with his loving family. Danny was proud of his radio show Good Ole' Gospel Music that aired every Sunday on KLPZ in Parker, AZ. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, flower gardening. He loved to laugh and show others how to love. Danny was lifetime member of Cornerstone Christian Center Church, were he and Brenda raised their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Margaret, daughter Harmony Brown, and sister Patty Shaffer. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Great Lakes Hospice for their compassion and love they gave Danny and family. Memorial Contributions may be made to help the Grant family with final expenses at the mortuary. Services will be Monday June 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul Enochs officiating at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel. Family and friends may visit Monday June 4, 2018 from 12:00pm until the time of service. Interment will be at Albright Cemetery.
