Mary C Obrien

Mary C. O'Brien of Kokomo passed away at the age of 92. She was born in Bellaire, OH to the late Ella (Becker) and Albert Oberle. She married Hugh F. O'Brien and he preceded her in death October 28, 2011. Mary graduated from St. Mary's in Delaware Ohio. She retired as a Supervisor from Lazarus in 1981 after working there for 20 years. She attended The Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Whitehall, Ohio. She loved going to Lake Erie and being surrounded by her family. Surviving Mary are her daughters Barbara Gilbert (Larry), Christy Scholl, son Jerry Chambers, step sons Mychael and Jimmy O'Brien, six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, first husband Omer "Ozzie" Chambers, her late husband Hugh F. O'Brien, and grandson Steven Chambers. A Graveside Service for Mary's family will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lockbourne, OH at 11:30a.m. In lieu of flowers if you would like to make a contribution in Mary's honor, please make payable to St. Anthony's Rehab Center; 1205 N. 14th St. Lafayette, IN 47904.
