Robert Wayne Willis

Robert W. Willis, 62, of Kokomo, passed away at 8:12am on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 19, 1955 in Kokomo to the late Floyd Willis and Carolyn Hunt, who survives. Robert was previously employed with Kokomo Grain and J. Fletcher Creamer and Son. He enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR. Robert also enjoyed playing the drums when he was able and was an avid pet-lover. He was a Family-Man, and loved his family very much. Robert is survived by his loving fiancée; Rachel; three sons, Ricky (Kristin) Willis, Michael Willis, and Travis (Matrika) Hill; daughter, Summer (Steven) Bailey; thirteen grandchildren; his mother, Carolyn Hunt; step-father, Frank Hunt; two brothers, Rick Willis and Eddie (Tonya) Willis; sister, Jinny (Robert) Head; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Floyd W. Willis and brother, Donald A. Willis. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 16, at 12:30pm at Ellers Mortuary, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Paul Sutherland officiating. The family will have a time of visitation from 11:30am until 12:30pm, on Monday, also at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Robert’s family to assist with funeral expenses.
