Ronald Onvy “Jack” Bryant Sr., 84, Greensburg, KY (formerly of Kokomo), died Monday, Jan. 8th, 2018, at his home.
Jack was born March 28th, 1933, in Center, KY, to Virgil and Pearl (Roberts) Bryant.
He married Oneida Faye Richey on Dec. 30, 1968, in Greentown and she preceded him in death in 2009.
Jack worked as a machine operator for Chrysler before retiring in 1996 after 30 years of service.
He graduated from American High School, Class of 1973. He was a member of Kingdom Life Ministries Church and attended Macedonia Church in Greensburg, KY.
He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, attending auctions for cows and pigs, and eating biscuits and gravy.
Jack is survived by two sons, Ronnie (Debbie) Bryant Jr., Kokomo, Richey (Shanna) Bryant, Peru; two daughters, Vickie Herman, Greensburg, Ky., Angie Kaye (Chuck) Camp, Kokomo; 9 grandchildren, Bethsheba Binnion, Triston (Alexis) Bryant, Courtney (Chris) Kaylor, Jaime (Zac) Walker, Bryce (Elizabeth) Camp, Bailey Camp, Brayden Camp, Ethan Bryant, Emily Bryant; step grandchildren Chrissy Carter, Jenny Catt, and Brayden Foreman;18 great-grandchildren; 7 step great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers Arnold (LouAnn) Bryant, Hiseville, KY and Edward (Joyce) Bryant, Lafayette, IN; sisters Zona (Linko) Rock, Center, KY, Donna Bryant, Hiseville, KY, Betty Ritter, Glasgow, KY, Brenda Bryant, Columbia, KY, and special sister Janice Bryant, Columbia, KY. He is also survived by several beloved nieces, nephews, and friends he considered his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Oneida, parents Virgil and Pearl Roberts Bryant, several brothers and sisters and step great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday January 13th, 2018 at 9:00am with visitation one hour prior and Friday January 12th from 4-8pm all at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel with Pastor Terry Russell and Glenn Waltman Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors.
