Joseph Culver Williams, Sr., 60, of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born on June 17, 1957 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Raymond Rodger Williams and the late Martha Martin Williams. Joseph was the manager at People’s Furniture Store in Bedford. He enjoyed trains, bowling and going to any beach.
Joseph is survived by his two sons, Joseph C. Williams, Jr. and fiancé, Sara Cummings and Lee A. Williams; his grandson, Joseph Culver Williams, III; the mother of his children, Anne Williams; sister, Terri Tinsley and fiancé Ray Goodman; niece, Brandi Tinsley; nephew, Jeremy Tinsley; two sister-in-laws, Margo Floyd and Gwen Watson; three brothers-in-law, Allen Watson and wife Pam, Travis Watson and wife Laura, and Brian Watson and wife Caryn; aunt, Betty Johnson; and numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Crosspoint Church, 7619 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg, with Pastor Theo Griffin officiating.
