UNETIC, Albert, of Chesterfield, died on April 29, 2014. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1922 to Anna and Andrew Unetic, who emigrated from Austria in 1913. Albert’s first wife preceded him in death. He is survived by their two sons, Albert D. and Phillip; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his second wife, Sara; and her three children, Malcolm, Andrea and Sean; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Albert attended Fenn College in Cleveland, Ohio. He served as an aviator for the U.S. Navy in WWII, and was honorably discharged as a lieutenant after seven years. He retired after a thirty-three year working career at Robertshaw Controls Company, headquartered in Richmond. His church affiliations included two Richmond Presbyterian churches, Salisbury and Bon Air. Albert was a gifted athlete with a competitive spirit, a passion for golf and gin rummy, and was a long-time member at Salisbury Country Club. He will be much missed by friends and family. Graveside services will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Westhampton Memorial Park, followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at Bon Air Presbyterian Church.
