Daniel Michael Sprigle

Daniel Sprigle died peacefully at home on July 21,2018 after a lengthy illness. He was born February 13, 1949 in York ,PA to his late parents George and Jessica. He is survived by Carol, his wife of 41 years, daughter Angela ( Greg ) and grandchildren Nick and Emily. He is also survived by brother Ric ( Norma), mother in law Norma, brother in law Steve ( Kelly) a niece and many nephews. Preceding him in death were his daughter Michelle and brothers Tom and Marty. He had been employed by PCC, formerly Allis-Chalmers until his retirement. He served his country in the US Army from 1969-1971. His favorite pastimes were golf, shooting pool, riding motorcycles, refurbishing old tractors, remodeling his home and watching any sports. He had the amazing ability to fix almost anything. He was a member of the Prince, 13th Ward, Vigilant and Hawks clubs where he had many lifelong friends. After retirement, he enjoyed happy hour with a craft beer, a good cigar and neighborhood friends. We will all miss him but we have comfort in knowing his body is free again and he is now with his family in heaven. A life celebration is being planned for August 11 at John Rudy park.
