Olin Edmond Alligood

ALLIGOOD, Olin E., formerly of Peachtree City, born March 23, 1930, in Cadwell, GA, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2013. He moved to Miami, FL at the age of 17 and later opened and operated Alligood-Carroll Funeral Home there. Upon his retirement, he moved to Peachtree City, GA where he resided until moving in with his daughter and family in Richmond, VA. He was a loving and dedicated husband, dad and papa. He was preceded in death by his son, Drew Alligood. Survivors include his wife, Joy Mims Alligood; his daughter, Cara Srodulski and her husband, James; two grandchildren Rebecca and Zachary Srodulski; and his aunt, Mae Delgado. Funeral services will take place in Midlothian, Virginia and interment will be in Cadwell, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
