Anna Belle McKnight Schulz

Anna Belle McKnight Schulz, 94 years of age died Wednesday May 7th, 2014. She was born March 15th, 1920 in Elizabeth, Indiana to the late Walter H. and Katherine (Brown) McKnight and was the widow of Philip (Bus) Schulz who died in 1978. Anna was a longtime active member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. She loved her church, family, shopping for antiques, but most of all caring for her husband and family and being a wonderful homemaker. Anna will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, “Bus”; son, Ronald Schulz; son-in-law, Charles Barker; and siblings, James McKnight, Kenneth McKnight, and Mary Mauch. Survivors include daughter, Judy Barker; son, Joseph Schulz (Kacy); daughter-in-law, Wanda Schulz; grandchildren, Terri, Cindy, Dana, Beth, Dana; great grandchildren, Phillip, Nathan, Leah, Jared, Sarah; great great grandson, Matthew; siblings, Walter H. McKnight Jr. (Mercedes), Dorothy Kasse, Lilian Mathers, Jenny Rupp (Melvin); numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday May 9th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday May 10th at St. Mary of the Knobs Chapel with burial in the church cemetery.
