Sharon L. (Richey) Minyard

Sharon L. (Richey) Minyard, 74, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 3, 2018. The daughter of the late Joseph and Alberta Moore Richey, Sharon was born May 23, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from Butler High School and attended Western Kentucky University. Sharon retired from Brown Forman in Louisville after 30 years of service where she was named Employee of the Year two times. She was a member of Edwardsville UMC. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 51 years, Ruel Minyard. Sharon had an infectious smile and wished only happiness for others. She will be greatly missed by her family. Survivors include her son, M. Scott Minyard (Melissa); daughter, Shannon Johnson; granddaughter, Kelly Henley (Jason); great granddaughter, Natalie Henley; sister, Bettie Bullock; and brother, Robert Corum. Visitation will be 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday and after 8:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial in Hill Grove Church Cemetery in Edmondson County, Kentucky.
