Obituary of Jami Corle
Jami Lynn Corle, 31, of Bluffton passed away at her home on Friday, February 23, 2018. She is joining her beloved grandparents in Heaven. Jami was born on May 1, 1986, in Bluffton to Debra Francis (Coty) Slusher. She was a 2005 graduate of Norwell High School and a 2009 graduate from Indiana University in Bloomington. Jami enjoyed working with the elderly at Ossian Health and Rehab. She also enjoyed being a substitute teacher, a private tutor, a volunteer EMT, and taking classes at IPFW for nursing. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, Big Brother Big Sisters, and a court advocate with CASA. She had over 500 hours of volunteer work. She was a foster parent to two young boys and loved being their foster mother. In her spare time, she liked to read, attend concerts with her niece, build Legos with her nephew, watch movies, and listen to music. She always wanted to travel to Paris and loved the Eiffel Tower. Besides her mother, Debra, she has two sisters, Charity Jo (Trent) Ehinger and Jessica Ann Corle; two nieces and one nephew; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She loved being an aunt more than anything and spending as much time with her nieces and nephew as possible. Jami was preceded in passing by her grandparents, William O. and Charity Bernice Coty. A memorial service will be 6:00 pm on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Life Community Church, 428 South Oak St., Bluffton with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior.
