Paul J. Noe

Paul J. Noe, 66, of Ossian, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 18, 1946 in Kendallville, son of the late Robert and Beverly (McCullick) Noe. He had worked for the Wells County Sheriff’s Office as a jail officer for 11 years prior to working at United Technologies, retiring in 2009. He was an Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, and loved music, playing in a bluegrass gospel band for many years. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Noe of Ossian; step children, Jacob (Christine) Doelling of Fort Wayne and Jennifer Doelling of Ossian; brothers, Douglas (Jocyln “Joy”) Noe of Wellington, FL and Tim Noe of Defiance, OH; and grandchildren Zachary and Katelyn Doelling. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777 with visitation 2 hours prior. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
