

He attended Harrison College in Bridgetown Barbados, and was passionate about learning Latin and French. He became fluent in both languages before graduating from there in 1975. For many years, he worked at Life of Barbados Limited insurance company before migrating to Florida in 1987 with his wife and two young children.
He always had a passion for computer operating systems and computer programming and before migrating to the U.S., Life of Barbados sent him to Georgia to learn and complete a course on the FilePro Technologies database. FilePro is a powerful database engine and rapid application development interface. He completed the course and received a Certificate of Honors. In years to come, Roger started his own business utilizing the FilePro database and created systems for various health insurance service providers throughout South Florida and the Caribbean.
One of his favorite pastimes was his love and passion for playing tennis. He competed in Barbados in his teenage years and won many Barbados Lawn Tennis Association competitions. He excelled at the sport and often traveled to various Latin American islands for tennis competitions.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Anna-Maria, and his dearest sister Laura, and was deeply loved by his son Joel, and daughter Marisa. He was adored by his 6 precious & beautiful grandchildren Ava, Alexander, Ariella, Anya, Addisyn, and Anderson. He will be deeply missed by his closest family, friends and colleagues.

A viewing for Roger will be held Friday, March 15, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955. A funeral service will occur on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
