Christopher David Chittum

On Sunday, November 25, 2018, Christopher David Chittum of Dumfries, VA passed away unexpectedly. He is survived by his son Brian Chittum of Dumfries, VA; mother Brenda Lebe of Dumfries, VA; sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Mario Colorado of Springfield, VA; nephews Jeremy Thomas, Quentin Colorado, Sebastian Colorado and Mario Colorado Jr. of Springfield, VA as well as many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father David Chittum. He was loved and respected by all his family, friends and co-workers. A man who was always quick to give support and help to anyone in need, he will be missed and his loss felt by so many. He enjoyed bowling in leagues with family and friends, fishing with family members, and he loved the Washington Redskins and Washington Wizards. Family was his life and he was devoted to his son, Brian, and helping him through the years with Tae Kwon Do, basketball, and was proud and supportive of his college education at Radford University. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA from 10am-2pm.
