William Christopher Sutherland, 32, of Stafford passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
Chris was a diehard skins fan, an avid football player, a serious poker player, loved Texas hold ‘em, enjoyed dancing and listening to music. He was extremely competitive and went above and beyond in everything he did. He never settled for less than the best, which is why he excelled in everything he set his sights on.
He is survived by his fiancé, Ashley Cumberlidge of Stafford, VA; his son, William Tristan Sutherland of Stafford, VA; his parents, Jeffrey and Billie Sue Walker of Stafford, VA; his brother, Jesse Walker of Stafford, VA; his sister, Jill Walker of Woodford, VA; his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Sutherland of Stafford, VA; and his paternal grandmother, Joan Dewey of Woodbridge, VA.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey A. Walker Jr.; his maternal grandfather, William E. Sutherland; his maternal great-grandmother, Bessie Sutherland; and his paternal great-grandmother, Anna Rae Gayle.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00pm on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford. A funeral service will begin at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park.
