Brian E. Fields, 45, of Marion went to be with our Lord on June 4, 2018. He was born in Terre Haute to Elmer and Vicki Fields on January 23, 1973.
Brian graduated from Marion High School 1991 and continued his education to become a certified welder. He worked as a Certified High Steel Ironworker for several Government contractors where he traveled to places such as Australia and England. When Brian was not working, he spent time with friends and riding his Harley motorcycle.
Brian is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Nora Fields; maternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Rudisel; aunts, Patricia Rudisel and Andrea Frazier; uncles, James Rudisel, Frances Dean Fields and Tommy Dale Fields.
Brian is survived by his parents, Elmer and Vicki Fields of Dillsboro, IN; his sister, Tracy (Brian) Griffin of Clinton; sister, Trish Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; a niece, Ashleigh Dews of Las Vegas, NV; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be his sisters, Tracy Griffin and Trish Johnson; cousins Roger King, Josh King and Larry Hatfield; friends, Brian Shreves, Mike Vaughn and Greg Newlin. Honorary pallbearers will be cousins, Troy Sartor and Jason Fields.
Brian’s family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Community Hospital North of Indianapolis in the Oncology department, also St. Frances Hospital of Greenwood Bone Marrow Transplant team, the Cancer Clinic staff and The Hospice House.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Terre Haute. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating.
