William "Randy" Awe

William “Randy” Randolph Awe, 60, passed away on May 14, 2010. Randy was born in Norfolk and was preceded in death by his father, William Rexford Awe. He was a former project manager for Way Point Development, LLC, and former co-owner of Avalon Cleaners. He was a longtime member of the Church Of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his mother, Floy Hunter Awe Jordan, his wife, Grace Elizabeth Awe, a brother, Fred Awe, a niece, Dawn Awe and a great niece Melissa Sue and cousins, Garland and Annie Carol Whaley and their daughter, Karen and Faye and Jim Brown, and Theresa and Warren Martin. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Monday, 1:00p.m., at Rosewood Memorial Park with Daryl Harding officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Emphysema Foundation.
