Beverly Ellen Cuff Beyer, 85, passed away peacefully at home with her family on Sunday, December 4th, 2022. She was born on September 4th, 1937 in Bronx, New York. She grew up in New Hyde Park raised by her parents William and Dorothy Cuff with her brother William Cuff. She graduated from Sewanhaka Central High School, and further went on to receive an associate’s degree from Farmingdale State College where she met her best friend and husband.
Beverly was married to the love of her life Donald Beyer for 65 years. They raised three girls together on Eaton’s Neck in Northport, New York. Together they owned a local art store for many years with the help of friends and family. In 2008, they moved to Virginia to be closer to family.
Beverly was a remarkable artist with her favorite medium being watercolor. She was a part of the innovative and progressive transition to graphic design and worked with numerous upcoming companies all while raising her children at home. She also had a love for animals, always having a furry companion or two at home, and was the textbook definition of someone who “wouldn’t hurt a fly” and a genuine loving soul.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Donald Beyer; daughters, Kathy Young (Raymond), Jeanne Beyer (Brett) and Karen Florimonte (Mark); grandchildren Daniel Young, Kevin Young (Jessica), Elizabeth Beyers (John), Alex Schluter, John Schluter, Isabel Hagaman (Hunter) and Andrea Florimonte; great-grandchildren Jackson Young, Austin Young, Bella Beyers, Josie Young, and Eleanor Hagaman.
